Reviews for LOCKING ROAD CAR PARK, WESTON-SUPER-MARE

£20 to park a lorry overnight! £20! And the payment machine does not take a debit card, its cash only! And dear reader, it only accepts £1 coins, old £5 and old £10 notes (the ones with Queen Elizabeth on, bless her, lovely lady) not the ones with King Charles on. I would understand if Turkish barbers had set up on the car park and wanted "cash only, mate" but a local council? Must be a bit strapped for cash, who knows! So, if you don't have any cash, like Weston-super-Mare council, head in to Weston, as I did, to find a cash point and hope and pray that the dispenser gives you old notes! Good luck! Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Plenty of spaces and easy to get to. £6 all day 10min walk to beach through town where you can get essentials on the way;) yes there are closer parking spaces to the beach but it's £15-20 a day to park.

Coach & Car Park, its big, very close to the town centre, got a shelter where coaches somtimes pick up and drop off at, toilets closed decades ago, the shelter is rundown, and under the road bridge by the railway the car park is unpleasant, with needles, broken glass and even Faeces in places under the bridge, but the rest of the car park is fine, it is pay and display, nothing special but a well placed large car park, there is a path under the bridge directly to the rail station too, its open 24 hours 7 days a week, dont think there is a barrier, but they do close it off on the day of and a few days before and after the carnival as its where the floats are parked

Lovely car park not many cars there on a wet day but beware as its close to shops and sea it gets very busy on a sunny limited times to stay right by a train station so if you wanted to go elsewhere without driving perfect around £4 an hour so expensive I would park in the tesco car park opposite be careful traffic wardens there!

If you have a campervan or motorhome avoid this place like the plaque! My van is not registered as either but I still got a PCN for being over the height, length or width allowed in the car park even though my vehicle fitted in the spaces, no sizes specified on the boards and no height barriers because the same area is used for overnight lorry parking! My appeal was up held because I think the council knew they had made a mistake but failed to admit to it and gave me some rubbish about not having to be registered as a camper etc. The town itself is nice but I wouldn't visit again because campervan and motorhome owners spend just as much in the town as anyone else.

The always go to parking for coaches when dropping groups to weston super mare beach its located a few minutes from the beachfront so great for timing when to go and pickup. Coaches pay £10 for allday parking and its located by variety of food places so makes it great go to parking

Nice place to park, used it to park my truck overnight many times, never been messed with overnight. So purchase a parking ticket asp because the parking wardens in Weston-super-Mare are vultures and will swoop on any vehicle straight away. At only ten quid to park an HGV it's a bargain. Rumours are that its going to have flats built on it soon.

Fantastic car park. It is suitable for all types of vehicle. It is cheap compared to all the other surrounding car parks (except for tesco if you are driving a car and staying under 3hrs). 24hrs £5.50 for a car (at time of writing) There are plenty of spaces I have never seen it completely full even in summer months. This car park does have toilets although it does cost 20p (same as beach prices) But if you go over the road (literally) and go in Tescos and buy something then it's free for customers. This car park is about 4min walk to the beach (depending on your walking pace). National express do have coaches that drop off/pick up at this location... I do believe other companies do as well I'm just unaware of which ones.
