We had been with the practice for three years, the experience was positive for the first 12 months, but over the last two years we have become increasingly dissatisfied with the lack of continuity, communication, experience and customer service (or lack of it.) The reception / administration team are rude, and their systems ineffective. The nurses are far more experienced with our dog than any of the vets, if you can find one.

Was recommended to use this practice for my Puppy and I haven't been disappointed. Great offers to save costs so your pet gets the very best care and so friendly and helpful. 5 star pet care.

Felt the need to forewarn others, been with this Vet for many years since we moved to the outskirts of WSM we have a cat and a Dog with them had routine stuff over the years no issues. However some months ago we had an issue with wax build up in our dogs ear, so we asked for an estimated cost of having this removed. And was told for the treatment test sample and medication it would from £300 up to£500 depending on time spent etc which we thought was expensive but, with our dog wellbeing in mind and the discomfort he was in we went ahead. Our dog was in for treatment no more then 15 mins having he ears cleaned out, to our surprise the bill came out over £200 over the top figure estimate. My wife politely asked for an explanation to why and had the misfortune to deal with the practice manage, who seemed to take personal offence for the price being questioned and wasn’t able to explain why, and unprofessionally shouted out in front of the waiting room, they were not overpriced…. And stormed off and got a less senior colleague to come and deal with it, who I might add did so, professionally and agreed that if we was given a £300- £500 estimate one would expect to come within that figure not over double the lower figure offered and agreed a more accurate estimate should of been attainable ! This practice manager does not seem to have the emotional maturity to deal with a valid enquiry, to justify why we were over so much on our top end estimate, and was unable to justify why, and instead was rude unprofessional for no reason. We managed to get the bill brought down to the top end estimate after months of chasing up our complaint and automated treating letters received,as a much of a matter of principle , only to receive a letter telling us our pets will be removed off their practice… which whilst this is fine, as after their treatment and handling of this situation, I question the integrity of their pricing and the professionalism of the management team, and this response just highlights this further…. Always Ask for a accurate estimate, in writing before agreeing to anything with the poorly managed Vet, as they seem to make their billing up as they go along and, I hope you don’t have the misfortune to deal with this practice manager. Whom I can only assume must be a relation of someone higher at the practice, otherwise, I cannot imagine any business in their right minds having someone so poorly equipped to deal with what was a pretty simple situation, and so unprofessional and rude, to someone making a completely reasonable enquiry in amicable polite manner…. It was truly shocking that someone of this calibre has the responsibility of managing people and dealing with customers…🤷‍♂️ I feel for the people she line manages if this sample is anything to go by!

We have been clients of Green Pastures for nearly seventeen years and have always been exceptionally happy and satisfied with the veterinary team, who are always knowledgeable, kind and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the reception and administration staff. The previous Practice Manager was often brusque, officious and rude and it would appear that the current one is keen to follow in this model. Despite the excellent vets, the only thing that keeps us at GP is that they are the only Weston vets with 24 hour care and I live close by. Otherwise, the rude staff and higher than average costs would have me going elsewhere.

Despite not being the vet we’d used since moving up to WSM from Cornwall, but my dog Pepper made his last journey here and they were magnificent. I couldn’t bare him to go to the place our Cavs have been to for that final time. Outstanding they couldn’t have been more sympathetic and thoroughly professional

Green pastures were professional from start to finish, keeping us updated throughout the time our cat received treatment. After a few days stay,Milton is now so much better. We are so thankful for everything Green pastures have done to aid Milton back to health. Its a remarkable veterinary practice. Thank you.

By far the best vets I’ve ever dealt with. Our cat Cookie was diagnosed with a tumour in her lungs a couple of months ago. Charlotte was fantastic as a source of support, advice and a consistent caring service and professionalism the whole time until we had to say goodbye nearly two weeks ago. Cookie hated going to the vets but she responded to Charlotte better than with any other vet in her 14 years. I knew when the time came that we wanted Charlotte to be the one on duty, she wasn’t rostered to work that day, these things happen. When we arrived, she had changed things around so that she would be there. We will forever be grateful for this and should we ever bring another furry friend into our family, Green Pastures and Charlotte will be our first port of call.

I have 6 dogs and a friendly professional vet is most important to all of us. My youngest is normally timid around people he doesn't know but the vet and the team at Green Pastures treated him like family so thank you for the excellent service and communication.
