We love our evenings at The Playhouse and usually have a fabulous experience. Last night we were at the Pink Floyd Tribute show and had to leave half way through. I spent an hour with my fingers in my ears and my eyes closed. The music was far too loud, even for my husband who likes things loud, and the stage lights were set to sweep over the audience, often with a dazzling light. The lights gave me a headache and caused my husband’s glaucoma eye to be very sore. There were no warnings about the lights and anyone with a light induced epilepsy could have been very uncomfortable. Needs to be fed back to the band.

I love the staff here and the whole atmosphere. I can't fault that side of things.
Sadly we had a Bunch of people who came to eat throughout the whole show so that's literally all we heard was them and their wrappers

Fab place to see some great acts. Theatre staff are really friendly and helpful. Smallish theatre giving a lovely intimate feeling of being totally involved even in the upper tiers.

Visited with my mum to watch the mousetrap. Very easy to book online and collect ticket from box office on the night. Very organised, so not much waiting around before event. Seats comfortable and view of the show good. There are seats and spaces for wheelchair users, plus a lift. Hot, cold and alcoholic drinks and snacks available before the show and in the interlude. Staff very professional and helpful. Parking nearby in local carpark, some street spaces (charged) bus stops and taxi rank nearby.

The Music of Bob Marley was a fantastic night. If it plays again at WSM, definitely worth another visit. The tribute band could have been Marley and his wailers it was that good 👍

Went to see ShowaddyWaddy and what a show, a full house and absolutely brilliant performance from them both music and singing.
