Absolutely horrendous - avoid! Where do I start with how stressful the past 2 months have been for me. I purchased a car from Cesil motors on April 21st 2023, paying £7849 for it. On august 21st to the exact date it began cutting out at junctions. Immediately contacted Cesil motors to be told I was out of warranty and could be provided with number of local garage that could look at it for me. Did this immediately; left voicemail to be rung back - never received call back. Had to book in with Nissan who told me the car had metal swarf in engine & would require new engine at £9000 upwards!! This after 4 months of purchase, contacted cesil motors reminding them of consumer rights act 2015 which states the garage has one attempt to repair vehicle before having to provide customer with full refund. They were completely unprepared to acknowledge this & all they were prepared to do was “arrange for car to be looked at at local garage and they would consider a gesture of goodwill! Oh I should add I was also advised to “look online for a new engine as they are £1500-£3000” car was undriveable so was unable to get to garage, requested cesil motors recover vehicle to garage for me - again refused. Thank god I had part of car on finance and after numerous emails to cesil motors requesting a refund - all denied, the first response was total lies saying I had had the car for over 6 months of “trouble free driving!” Laughable! The finance company took over. They then continued to remind cesil motors of the consumer rights act and reiterated that they had to provide me with a refund & that to expect me to put a new engine in a car that has done 3000 miles that I had for 4 months was totally unreasonable. Again all went ignored by cesil motors: I have today finally been told I will receive a refund from the finance company including all the money spent at Nissan, and for a recovery vehicle they will them continue the case with cesil motors. I have now been without a car for 2 months. Cesil motors will respond to this review with the usual total lack of care or concern , and with lies as they have done this entire time. All I can say is do not EVER purchase a car from this despicable person who has no care, compassion or customer service whatsoever.

I bought a car from here back in January, The best experience I have had buying a second hand car I’ve always been a bit hesitant when buying from a Garage but Simon was really helpful and not pushy like I have experienced in the past. I would recommend buying from here and if I need to I will definitely look what he has in stock. It was so good my friend also bought a car from him and is very happy with it. bought a tidy fiesta from this company about a year ago and just sold it back to him. The car was sold to me and never ever had any issues with it even though it was a 05 plate, it never let me down. I'm always looking at his site and seeing what else he has as I find his prices to be very reasonable. The customer service is a 10/10 and the cars he sells for the prices is also a 10/10 in my opinion.

Genuinely could not be happier with how well this purchase went. I saw the vehicle and, although we live some distance away, Simon from day one was honest and was true to his word. Incredibly helpful, fast and effective communication, and a wonderfully run family business. I travelled 350 miles back in the car and could not be happier, although early days I feel confident enough that if any problems did arise they would be dealt with. I had an amazing experience at Cesil Motors, I was looking for a second car to commute to work in. I didn’t have loads of money to spend but Simon took the time to show me the stock he had and talk me through the options at my price point. There was absolutely no pressure from him and the test drive on my own was refreshing compared to most dealers. Coffee was free flowing and in the end I purchased a lovely MK6 Golf TDi which suited my needs perfectly. The handover process was a breeze and and the car presented to an excellent standard. Since this I have recommended several friends and family to visit when looking for their next car.

Purchased a BMW 320d Sport from Simon at Cesil Motors. Absolutely amazing experience throughout the whole process. Simon was very welcoming and helpful from start to finish. I purchased a 2012 Honda Civic. I had a bit of a travel, but it was well worth it. Love the car, very good condition and the couple of jobs I requested were carried out no problem. Simon is very helpful, doesn't pressure you in any way and his stock seems well priced. Happy to deal with him again, hopefully in a couple of years when he'll give me a great price for the Civic as a trade in! 😁😁
