Fantastic job. We have a multi fuel stove with a lined flue that needed a proper clean (first in 5 years!) Mike, lovely chap, turned up and had it all done in 45 minutes with no mess or dust anywhere. Left the place and stove spotless. He checked the entire flue afterwards with a fiber optic camera, looked brand new. Top job. Before leaving he handed me a printed copy of the certificate, for home insurance purposes. Attention to detail was second to none! Mike did a superb job clearing out my chimney after 16 years of no use. He removed birds nests and a ball of chicken wire used by previous owner to prevent birds nesting…despite awful weather he came and did a fantastic job tackling the problem from the rooftop and from the fireplace! Techno-Sweep, how things have changed in a few years since our last home with a wood burning stove; high powered magnetic airlock fixed to your stove, brushes with wireless cameras attached, and sent through the airlock, then a rotary brush through the same airlock, and finally the vacuum. And while the dust sheets and general care and attention are `nice' to see... really and truly they are almost superfluous for a wood burner, which is now sparkling. MIke was sound as pound, inspected the flue from ground floor to the roof, via the loft. We have a certificate to say that we have had a clean, and an inspection, and have been found to be `safe'. And that is almost priceless, and Mikes a really a nice bloke, bang on time very efficient and quick. I can only recommend the bloke. Brilliant. Had to arrange sweep around work and Mike was prompt to the time agreed. His work was clean,tidy and non intrusive. Care was taken throughout with job completely quicker than expected for such precision attention. Very good rates and easy to communicate and book! Highly recommended
