My mother was admitted to this care
home some time ago, she has been
treated with the upmost respect and
care. She loves the staff, her room and
the endless activities available! The
home manager rachael was very
supportive in making the transition from
living at home to moving into beach
lawns stress free and seamless. The
staff supported us as a family and
reassured us in any concerns we had
about the stigma around care homes.
They have continued to show us that we
do not need to worry about our mothers
care or treatment; they go above and
beyond and are true hero's! Thank you
beach lawns and rachael for all you do!

My mother moved into Beach Lawns three weeks ago into Memory Lane (dementia wing). Mum is very anxious but is happy there and has settled in well. The staff are all very friendly and kind, and go above and beyond to make her comfortable. There are actives twice a day which she is now happily joining in with, and they regularly take the residents to the park. She enjoys the food which has a choice each meal time. She has a lovely bright room overlooking the sea front. I didn't think she would settle this quick and thank you to the staff for giving me peace of mind that my mum is being well looked after.

Rachel Miller the care manager is a gas lighting, narcissist horrible bully. The home would be better off finding a new care home manager who takes criticism. Rachel becomes aggressive when challenged and makes you feel like you are the problem when her management skills are the problem. My relative was in hospital and was asked if she could still still meet their needs and without conducting an assessment, she said she could meet their needs. She is very unprofessional and refuses to believe a lot of stuff was happening. The call assist unit to call for help was always wrapped up in cable and there was no power connection and when I asked an employee, they said the patients usually call out but how can they when you can hardly hear them as they speak so quietly.

The worst care home, do not send your loved ones there. My dad had poor care
no point in calling the care home as I won't get anywhere.

Beach Lawns is a great place to work! We are a great team and support each other. I have worked there for 6 years. All staff aspire to provide the very highest standard of care for our residents, physically and emotionally, including regular activity, trips out, one to ones and fantastic meals, to name but a few.
I am proud, to say I work at Beach Lawns.

Such a lovely care home, moved my grandfather in and can’t fault the staff they have gone above and beyond, manager Rachel was so brilliant with us as a family and my grandfather with such an uneasy time to be finding a care home for him, she was helpful and welcoming from the start to moving in and making sure he was settled, lovely spacious areas for residents to go around in if they want to, room is lovely and spacious, after being in another home this was a breathe of fresh air of how clean and tidy the areas are and how inviting everyone is. Feel a relief my grandfather is here and in such good care.

My lovely mum has been a resident at beach lawns for a year. I knew that it was always going to be a difficult decision for mum to move into nursing care as she has been fiercely independent all her life. As her health and mobility deteriorated it became less of a choice. I have to say that the process of viewing Beach lawns was made particularly easy and the empathy and understanding of all our family needs, but mainly mums, was very much evident. Mum took a few days to settle, but the care and love shown to her soon helped the progression from her rented bungalow. I have the upmost confidence that mum has found a new "forever home" Mum is so much happier then prior to moving in. She now has structure to her day and takes part in many of the activities available. she has made some lovely friends and the lovely staff treat her like one of their own relatives. Mum has told me on so many occasions how much she "loves living here". Mum has a huge breakfast choice "although as is her tradition, toast every morning" Really great choice of meals which mum joins her friends in the dining room and she takes her evening tea in her room, with another choice of menu, with as many drinks throughout the day as she would like. I've Found the beach lawns to be extremely person centred and another reason that we all decided to move here. Personally I cannot speak more highly of all the staff, from the caring and knowledgeable sisters, the hard working and caring nursing assistants and of course the lovely reception staff. In my mind this is a well led residence and I am comfortably happy that mum now lives in a safe and relaxing environment.

My mother was a resident and hated the place. What annoyed me most was the fact I paid GBP 500 to an account for extra items and it was then invoiced rather than this money used. She left the facility on 20 May and there has been no refund despite repeated calls from me (Australia) and no-one seems willing or able to help.
