For a 2 star hotel, it was pleasantly surprising to feel so comfortable, well fed with excellent service from the staff. Great location next to the promenade. Rooms: Clean, comfortable with a modern unsuited. Noteworthy details: WiFi good. Parking an added bonus.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Royal Grosvenor and wouldn't be in a hurry to return. Understand it's graded as a 2 star hotel but the hotel felt soulless ,the room felt unloved. The majority of the staff were helpful and accommodating.

Have just returned from an overnight stay. We were on the second floor & used the lift which smelt terrible & our room was 209 which was very small & felt quite unwelcoming. The bed was ok, but pillows were like bricks, the bathroom still had soap foam on the rack in the shower but, the most disgusting thing for me was the filthy piece of string as a ring pull with nothing at the end of it & the door was dirty with the toilet roll holder hanging off the wall!! A few more pictures in the room & some general maintenance is badly needed. We paid over £73 thinking it would be an upgrade to a premier inn but sad to say the room was not a patch . I will just say the lounge & bar area looked quite nice but a shame the room let it down☹️.

The hotel bar played loud, horrible club music late into the night, which perforated through every floor of the hotel. Even on the second floor, we could only stand a few hours before we had to leave. The worst kind of cheesy, repetitive party music. Over and over. Incredibly loudly. We asked multiple times for them to turn it down and they said they would, but it continued to be loud. We have had to leave our trip early and ask for a refund as its impossible to relax. Only stay at this hotel if you hate peace. The loudest hotel I've been at in my life.

Spent four days there recently, our second stay there. Great hotel with everything as it should be. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Friendly helpful staff & great meals with a good choice to choose from. A fabulous location with everything close by.

Friendly reception and restaurant staff. Nothing too much trouble. Visited at short notice due to my mum who had been staying having a fall in town. Hotel staff found me parking , a room and booked me in for dinner and breakfast which was really kind. The night porter invited my mum to call at any time if she felt unwell or needed anything and even brought her breakfast to her room the morning after her fall. 10/10 for customer service. Thank you so much. Although a fleeting visit wouldn’t hesitate to return to explore the area s bit more . As a side note Weston General Hospital A&E was superb, efficient and professional and so clean. Noteworthy details: Very close to the sea front and lovely views.
